Key Features
Prevents galvanic corrosion
Blocks low-voltage DC currents from shore power that cause corrosion on underwater metal parts like propellers, shafts, and hull fittings.
Diode-based isolation system
Uses two high-power diodes in anti-parallel configuration to block small DC voltages while still allowing current flow when needed.
Low-voltage blocking (~1.4 V threshold)
Prevents corrosion currents but only conducts when voltage exceeds about 1.4V, ensuring normal operation is unaffected.
Fault current safety pass-through
If a higher fault voltage occurs, the diodes conduct and allow the safety system (RCD/GFCI) to trip.
